RAYAC Award Criteria
Realtor® of the Year: This award is given annually to a Realtor® who has made outstanding contributions to the industry through involvement at the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties and expended efforts to enhance the interest of their fellow Realtors®, their profession and the real estate community at large.
Criteria: A member of good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 3 years. Participation in RAYAC activities. A member who demonstrates high ethical conduct in professional dealings. Past Realtor® of the Year recipients are ineligible.

Realtor® Appreciation Award: This award is given annually to Realtors® who have gone above and beyond with their level of service and commitment to enhancing the mission and vision of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties.
Criteria: A member of good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 1 year. Participation in RAYAC activities in the past 12 months. A member who demonstrates high ethical conduct in professional dealings.
Affiliate Appreciation Award: The Affiliate Appreciation Award is given to an Affiliate member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties that has shown great enthusiasm and leadership for the Association. The award recipient is someone that has gone above and beyond the normal role as an Affiliate member to support and promote the real estate industry and the Realtors®.
Criteria: An affiliate member in good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 1 year. Participation in RAYAC activities in the past 12 months. Financially supported Association functions in the past 12 months. Other significant contributions to the profession or community.

Community Service Award: This award is based on the outstanding contributions of a Realtor® to his/her local community, as well as being an active member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties.
Criteria: A member of good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 3 years with current, active involvement at the local, state and national level. Recognized leader in some endeavor in the community. Nominees should have contributed to a program that improves the livability of a local community. Those activities aren’t limited to real estate or housing issues, and may include such things as crime prevention, youth mentoring, and homelessness prevention. Some portion of the nominee’s community work must have taken place between January and October of the current calendar year, but judges will also consider ongoing efforts outside that time frame.

Young Professional of the Year: The Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding Young Realtor® who is a well-rounded member of the community and actively engaged in RAYAC activities.
Criteria: Must be an active member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties who is aged 40 or under between the dates of November 1st of last year and October 31st of the current calendar year.

- Nominees must be members of RAYAC in good standing.
- Nominations must be accompanied by a completed entry form to be considered (REALTORS® may nominate themselves or may be nominated by another RAYAC member).
