Tami Behler, Inch & Co

1) How many years of experience do you have in the real estate industry, and what is your area of specialization?

I have held my real estate license for over 30 years. My experience includes residential sales as well as apprenticing with a real estate appraiser, providing me with a well-rounded perspective on property valuation and the real estate industry. Today, I work with buyers and sellers throughout South Central Pennsylvania in all areas of residential real estate, from first-time homebuyers to luxury properties.

2) What do you love most about being a Realtor®?

The relationships. I enjoy helping people through one of the most important decisions of their lives and building trust that often leads to lifelong friendships and referrals. Every transaction is an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life.

3) Have you been involved in any community service activities?

Giving back to our community has always been important to me. Over the years I’ve supported organizations including Pink Power, Chasing the Rainbows, the York County SPCA Gala, and the Central York Middle School yearbook program, helping provide yearbooks for students who otherwise would not receive one. I believe strong communities make us all stronger.

4) What do you believe are the critical issues facing the real estate industry?

Our industry continues to evolve, making education, professionalism, and advocacy more important than ever. I believe our association plays a vital role in keeping Realtors informed, protecting private property rights, and ensuring our members have the tools they need to serve their clients successfully.

5) What motivated you to run for a position on the Board of Directors?

After more than 30 years in the real estate profession, I feel it’s time to give back to the association that has supported my career. I’ve enjoyed serving on several RAYAC committees over the years, most recently the Consumer Protection and RPAC Committees, and those experiences have given me an even greater appreciation for the important work our association does on behalf of its members. I would be honored to continue serving by bringing my experience, a collaborative approach, and a willingness to listen as a member of the Board of Directors.

Cindy Mann, Coldwell Banker

1) How many years of experience do you have in the real estate industry, and what is your area of specialization?

I’ve worked as a Residential Sales agent full-time, and been a member of RAYAC, since 2008 (18 years).

2) What do you love most about being a Realtor®?

My clients!  That’s an easy question to answer.  I love helping people, and when I can assist them with something as significant as buying or selling a home, building generation wealth, it makes my heart happy.  I also love teaching new agents, and that would be my second answer.

3) Have you been involved in any community service activities?

Most of my volunteer work since 2008 has been with RAYAC – Board of Directors, Treasurer, Budget Finance Committee, Education Committee, Grievance and then Professional Standards, and more.  I’m also a regular Red Cross blood donor.

4) What do you believe are the critical issues facing the real estate industry?

Here in our local real estate market, I believe our most critical issues are maintaining agent integrity and consumer trust, providing ongoing education that equips agents to adapt to an evolving industry—including leveraging AI to work more efficiently and effectively—and addressing housing affordability.

5) What motivated you to run for a position on the Board of Directors?

I’ve never been one to sit back and hope someone else will solve a problem. During my previous service on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for five years (2015–2019), I was proud to help RAYAC successfully transition to Bright MLS. I also worked to strengthen our association’s financial position by setting us on a path to pay off our mortgage quickly, reducing interest costs and minimizing future fee increases for our members.

I love being a REALTOR®, and I believe our association is strongest when members are willing to step forward and serve. I’m motivated to run because I want to continue contributing thoughtful leadership, listening to our members’ concerns, and helping address the issues that matter most—from professionalism and education to housing affordability and the new challenges that will surely come.

Stephen Turner, House Broker Realty

1) How many years of experience do you have in the real estate industry, and what is your area of specialization?

For more than 25 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve the real estate industry from several perspectives, including executive leadership with regional homebuilders and now as a REALTOR® with House Broker Realty. My experience includes new construction, residential resale, sales leadership, marketing, and consumer advocacy. What I enjoy most is simplifying the complex and helping buyers and sellers understand their options so they can make informed, confident decisions.

2) What do you love most about being a Realtor®?

I enjoy serving as a trusted advisor during one of the biggest financial decisions people will ever make. Every client and every transaction is different, and I enjoy solving problems, educating my clients, and helping them make confident decisions. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone achieve a goal they once thought was out of reach.

3) Have you been involved in any community service activities?

Giving back has always been important to me. I currently serve as President of the Exchange Club of Spring Grove and as Worshipful Master of York Lodge No. 266. Through those organizations and other volunteer efforts, I’ve had the opportunity to support youth programs, veterans, charitable causes, and community improvement projects. I believe strong communities create strong real estate markets.

4) What do you believe are the critical issues facing the real estate industry?

Our industry continues to face significant change, from housing affordability and changing consumer expectations to new technology and public perception. I believe our local Association has an important role in helping REALTORS® adapt by providing meaningful education, strong advocacy, professional development, and practical resources that help members better serve their clients and communities.

5) What motivated you to run for a position on the Board of Directors?

I was honored when several current Board members encouraged me to consider serving. After giving it some thought, I realized my background in executive leadership, homebuilding, real estate sales, and community service could bring a different perspective to the Board. My goal is not to change the Association overnight. It’s to listen, learn, work alongside fellow Board members, and help strengthen an organization that plays such an important role in supporting our profession and protecting private property rights.
