Pre-licensing courses are approved by the PA Real Estate Commission.
Classes are held at the Association building located at 901 Smile Way, York.

CLASS SCHEDULE 2017
Real Estate Fundamentals (30 hours):
Consecutive Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM & Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
September Class: 9/11, 9/13, 9/16, 9/18, 9/20, 9/23, 9/25, 9/27
November Class: 10/30, 11/1, 11/4, 11/6, 11/8, 11/11, 11/13, 11/15

Real Estate Practice (30 hours):
Consecutive Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM & Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
August Class: 8/7, 8/9, 8/12, 8/14, 8/16, 8/19, 8/21, 8/23
October Class: 10/9, 10/11, 10/14, 10/16, 10/18, 10/21, 10/23, 10/25
December Class: 12/4, 12/6, 12/9, 12/11, 12/13, 12/16, 12/18, 12/20

 TUITION:
Real Estate Fundamentals or Real Estate Practice: $200 for each course.

TEXTBOOK AND OTHER STUDENT SUPPLIES:
Every student must have a copy of the textbook, which is used in both courses so it only needs to be purchased once. The textbook will be available to you on the first day of class.
Modern Real Estate Practice in Pennsylvania, 13th Edition: $40 plus tax (non-refundable)
Other items to bring to class: writing utensil, highlighter, notebook, and calculator.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
Payment for the course(s) is non-refundable within 48 hours of the first class date and only 50% of the course cost is refundable for cancellations within a week of the class start date. Students may transfer the payment to another pre-licensing course date within three months. No portion of the tuition may be refunded after the beginning of a course.

According to PA State Real Estate Commission Rules and Regulations, students must attend 80% of the course to receive course credit. If 80% of the course is not attended, students will not be awarded credit for taking the course and will have to retake the course. Refunds will not be given for students who do not meet the 80% attendance rule.

If the School cancels the course, students will receive a full refund for the amount of the course.

 

COURSE FINAL EXAMS:

The exam for each course is given at the last class. A passing grade of 70% or higher is needed to complete the course. Should a passing grade not be achieved on the first attempt, arrangements should be made with the School to retake the final exam two additional times at no further cost. All examination retakes must be completed within a month of completion of the course.

After the exam, students may review their questions and answers for no longer than 30 minutes. All exams and answers must be returned to the instructor or RAYAC staff and may not leave the building.
