How many years of experience do you have in the real estate industry, and what is your area of specialization?
Approaching my 6th year, I have my certification in ABR and SRS. I am a relocation specialist and I am currently working on my new construction certification.
What do you love most about being a Realtor®?
Making dreams come true! Helping clients understand the home buying and selling process from start to finish. It’s rewarding to me to see the smiles on my clients’ faces when buyers purchase their new home, or sellers get a nice return on their investment on the sale of their home.
Have you been involved in any community service activities?
I currently serve on the Hands on Helpers committee with RAYAC and Junior Achievement. For over 30 years I have served in my church community, including teacher, counselor, lay servant and women’s ministry. In my children’s school I served on the PTO, and the Boy Scouts of America.
What do you believe are the critical issues facing the real estate industry?
I feel not only agents, but clients are confused about the NAR settlement and the changes that are coming to our industry. Education is key and as an association, it’s reassuring to know RAYAC provides classes, newsletters, emails, etc… so we understand what changes are occurring so that, in turn, we can reassure our clients that we are their best advocate and that they are in the best hands with us, their trusted, Realtor®.
What motivated you to run for a position on the Board of Directors?
I love volunteering my time to great organizations that I believe in. I would like to see our organization continue to grow in a positive and safe direction moving forward for all members.
