RAYAC Celebrates 100 Years of Excellence
The REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties, a leading voice in the real estate industry, is proud to announce its 100th anniversary. Established on April 14, 1923, the association has been at the forefront of the real estate industry, representing REALTORS® and property owners in York County for over a century.
For the past 100 years the REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties has been an integral part of our members’ success. From humble beginnings of 9 members to growing today to over 1300 REALTOR® members and the 8th largest association in Pennsylvania, the relentless spirit of RAYAC has stayed the same. Whether our members are helping people move down the street or move from halfway across the country, our mission has always led others home.
Always ahead of its time, the York Real Estate Board was charted 6 years before real estate licensing was established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
To commemorate this historic milestone, the REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties hosted a gala dinner where the association received Citations from the Pennsylvania State Senate and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as well as Proclamations from the County of York and the City of York.

RAYAC has a proud history of advancing the real estate industry in York & Adams Counties. From advocating for legislation to protect private property rights, to providing valuable training and education opportunities for REALTORS®, the association has been instrumental in shaping the industry’s growth and development.
As the association looks to the future, it remains committed to advancing the interests of REALTORS® and property owners alike. With a focus on innovation, education and advocacy, RAYAC is well-positioned to continue leading the real estate industry in York & Adams Counties for another century and beyond.
